2015 Calendar Months - LINED

Hi everyone!  As promised, here are the calendar months I'm using on my 2015 calendar.  I'm cutting them just on the inside of the border to remove it.  Having the border there for a guide though ensures that all the months are cut to the same size.

To download the calendar months double click on the image to enlarge then save the file to your PC.

Christmas Verse #1

Hi everyone!  We get a ton of printed cards in the mail from various fundraisers my husband donates to.  I'm beginning the process of going through all the holiday cards to see which ones I want to send to family and friends this year.

The ones I don't use go to a friend from work who shares them with local nursing home residents.  She spends the day helping them address their holiday cards.  I thought to share the verses on the inside of the cards here on my blog to have a resource of verses for my handmade cards as well.

Celebrate the season with
hope, happiness and peace!

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

2015 Calendar - COVER

Hi everyone! I started out the year making my traditional calendar with stamped images and somewhere along the way my mojo changed. Today I'm sharing the cover of my new 2015 calendar. All the patterned paper is from the Scenic Route, Sonoma Collection.

Here are the dimensions for the various layers:
  • Vanilla Base: 4 1/4 x 6 1/4
  • PP Base: 4 x 6
  • Strips: 1 1/4 x 3 1/2 (mark a spot 1/2 up from the bottom center then cut from each corner to the spot you marked)
  • Stitching: 3/4 inch down from the top
  • Banner:  3/4 x 3/4 triangles (cut a 3/4 x 3/4 square, on the edge of one corner find and mark the center spot, cut from the spot you marked on the edge to the opposite two corners to form a triangle)
I added a brad on each end of the banner.  The numbers were die cut using sizzix dies.  I punched a small heart to embellish the year.  I'll be back in a few days with the calendar months I'm using on my calendar.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Inspirations Magazine

Hi everyone!  I'm busy working on my 2015 calendar and don't have any new cards to share today.  Instead I thought to share a link to one of my favorite card making magazines.  Did I mention that the magazine is free.  If you haven't already, be sure to check it out!

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
