For You Mouse

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been by visiting much lately. Now that I'm through the busy season at work I'm back to studying for the CMA Exam again which means less time for card making and blogging.   

My card was inspired by the May FREE Stamp of the Month Challenge at Delightful Inspiration. The image used on today's card is the For You Mouse digital stamp by From The Heart Stamps.

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! We did some yard work yesterday. Wow, it was really nice to get outdoors and enjoy the sunshine! At the moment it's raining here so it looks like I'm stuck indoors for the time being! Was thinking to make a card today and print some photos to work on a scrapbook page. I'd like to get a least one page made yet this month during national scrapbooking month.

This is another layout from Bandit's scrapbook album.  The photo was taken back when were living in our mobile home.  My husband had built wood perches finished with carpeting for them to climb up top our cupboards.  Bandit and Buddy are hanging out on the top perch in this photo.

Flower Pot Chick

Hi everyone! It feels like eons since I've played in my craft room so I took a short break from studying today to create this card. I'm playing along with the April Free Stamp of the Month Challenge at Delightful Inspiration. I also found inspiration for the layout using I {Heart} Sketch #14.  The image used on today's card is the Flower Pot Chick digital stamp by From The Heart Stamps. The printed papers are from the Fly A Kite patterned paper collection by October Afternoon.

My card base is Honeycomb layered with White Cardstock then Lemonade Patterned Paper. The strip is Dandelions Pattern Paper layered on White Cardstock. The shadow layer is Strawberry Jam Patterned Paper layered on White Cardstock. The image was printed on White Cardstock and colored in using copic markers. I distressed the edges of the patterned paper and image with Tea Dye Distress Ink and a sponge. To embellish the card I added white lace, a bow made with White Grosgrain Ribbon and some dew drops.

Hi everyone!  We went on vacation this past week and visited my husband's friend from the Armed Services in Los Angeles, California and then hung out with my in-laws in Las Vegas, Nevada.  I lost a few dollars in the slot machines but had a blast doing so!!!

I don't have a card to share today so thought to share another layout from Bandit's scrapbook album.  Bandit is a male kitten so I went with a masculine theme on this page.
