Digi Doodle Shop's Best Bloghop

Hi everyone, welcome to our first Digi Doodle Shop's Best Bloghop!

We are celebrating the store's two month anniversary and have over 250 stamps for you to choose from. Judy and her lovely mom, Joy, have been working very hard to bring you a variety of wondrous stamps so we decided to celebrate with our first bloghop!

If you are here visiting my bog, thanks for stopping by!  I'm glad you did because you don't want to miss a thing.  If you've arrived here from Jayne's Blog,
Serendepity, then you're in the right place and if you've just happened along, you will want to head on over to the Digi Doodle Shop so you can start from the beginning! I'm sure you will find lots of inspiration along the way.

Here is a list of all the talented design team blogs in case you loose your way!

This week at the Digi Doodle Shop's Best challenge blog we are having an “ANYTHING GOES” challenge! The winner will get a $10.00 gift certificate to the shop and with 250 stamps I'm sure you will have no problem finding some wonderful images of your liking. The first, second and third place winners will also get badges to proudly display on their blog and will be entered into a drawing for a Guest DT spot with our great DT!  Also, three (3) stamps will be given away from three (3) mystery DT blogs.  For further information see the original blog hop post.

For this week's "ANYTHING GOES" challenge I created this beautiful card using one of my favorite Digi Doodle Shop floral images!

My card base is Birchtone Dark layered with a slightly smaller piece of Wizard Light cardstock. Next I cut two strips of PTI White cardstock and finished one side using the Eyelet Border Punch. I attached one strip about 2 1/2 inches from the bottom.

Overlapping the bottom of this strip I attached a 2 1/2 x 4 piece of Mellow Moss cardstock embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I attached the other strip over the top of the Mellow Moss cardstock at the base of the card.

The beautiful
Daffidills image was printed on PTI White using my Epson Photo Printer and colored in using copic markers. I paper pierced around the edges and layered it on to a slightly larger piece of Birchtone Dark cardstock. Next I wrapped dotted organdy ribbon around it and tied a bow in front before attaching to the card base using mounting tape. To finish off the card I added a button threaded with DMC White in the center of the bow.

That's it for me!  YOUR NEXT STOP on this bloghop is the fabulous, Sara!  For those of you who don't already know her, Sara is the Digi Doodle Shop's PR Manager. To follow along on her journey through stamps and papercrafting, please hop on over to her blog,
Luminous In My Chaotic Dreams, and enjoy the rest of the bloghop!

Oh, and don't forget to enter your "ANYTHING GOES" card when you reach the Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge Blog at the end of the bloghop!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a marvelous day!
