Eris Watering Flower

Howdy, everyone!  Today's card was created for this week's Stamps R Us challenge to use an animal on your card.  Our challenge is sponsored by Sew Many Cards and the cute little elephant watering the flower is the Eris Watering Flower digital stamp by Sew Many Cards.  It is not often that I use grey cardstock but thought it was perfect for this card.  I embossed the grey cardstock using the Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder to make it look like elephant skin.

My card base is Real Red layered with PTI White then Going Grey stitched and embossed using the Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder.  The shadow layer is Yoyo Yellow finished on one side using the Scallop Dot Edge Punch.  I added a strip of Black Grosgrain Ribbon and taped the ends down on the back side then added a pretty bow on the front.  The image was printed on PTI White and colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges the layered on to Real Red before attaching to the card base with mounting tape.
