Winter Bird

This delightful image made me think of something all soft and cozy so I dug out some PaperLoft patterned paper with soft blue, grey and green tones.  The Winter Bird is a digital image from Starry Nights Studio.  I just love the happy face and think the bird looks adorable wearing that cute scarf!

My card base is Always Artichoke layered with PTI White then Marked Trail patterned paper.  The shadow layer is Backpack patterned paper layered on Always Artichoke.  I stitched the edges of both pieces of patterned paper.  The image was printed on PTI White and colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges then layered it on to Always Artichoke.  To embellish the card I added organdy ribbon and bow as well as two white buttons threaded with DMC Ivory.
