Hi everyone! Here is the classic pickup card I sent my nephew for his birthday! His birthday was actually two month's ago but since the card had to travel all the way to Germany I thought I'd wait a while before posting it then got sidetracked and am just now getting around to posting it, LOL! The image is from the Classic Pickups stamp set by Stampin' Up. The coloring was my husband's vision and turned out rather cool.
My card base is Basic Black layered with PTI White then Real Red embossed using the Herringbone Embossing Folder. The strip is Memento Tuxedo Black wheeled on PTI White using the Making Tracks Stampin' Round Wheel. The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI White and colored in using copic markers. I punched the corners using the Ticket Corner Punch and layered it on to Glossy Silver then Basic Black. To embellish the card I added a black rhinestone in each corner.
Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
