Petals and Stems

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing the card I created for the OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch Challenge #58.  I was so inspired by this sketch I picked up a 5x7 photo album to save this sketch as well as some others in for inspiration later on. I love the OWH Stars and Stamps sketches because they provide all the dimensions which makes it so easy to play along with.

The beautiful butterflies are from the Petals & Stems stamp set by Verve Stamps.  I paired the butterflies with patterned paper from the Colorbok Nocturne Collection and embellished with Metallic Silver Wired Ribbon and Silver Rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

CREATIVE DESIGN:
  • Stamps: Petals & Stems (Verve Stamps)
  • Paper: Real Red, PTI White, Nocturne Patterned Paper (Colorbok)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic R29
  • Other: Stitching, Metallic Silver Wired Ribbon, Silver Rhinestones (KaiserCraft), Glue Dots and Mounting Tape

Oh Karen I love it! I have petals and stems and never think to use the butterflies by themselves. I can't believe how well you did cutting the antennas of the butterflies I would have mangled them lol.
