Love You Sentiment

Hi everyone! Today's card was inspired by this week's OWH Stars & Stamps midweek challenge to create a card with a "Love You" theme. I wanted to use another huge sentiment like the Happy Birthday one I recently played with but didn't have one in my stash so I created this "Love You" digital sentiment using Photoshop.

I designed the sentiment so it would be quick and easy to print lots of them for those of you who love to create multiples like me. If you are new to digital sentiments here are some basic instructions to get you started. Copy and paste the sentiment into a new word document then edit the document to view the gridlines. If you right click on the image and select text wrapping then tight you will be able to move the sentiment around the page. Now move the sentiment so the edges of the sentiment fit right up in the upper left corner of the page. Next right click on the sentiment and select copy. Click anywhere in the page then right click and paste. Now align this second sentiment so the edges fit up against the first one and to the edge of the page. Do this again to add a third sentiment down the left hand side of the page and repeat to add three sentiments down the right hand side of the page.

If I explained this very well and your page ended up like mine you should now have 6 of this sentiment on your page. After printing the page out you will be able to quickly cut the sentiments. First cut 4 inches in from each side of the page so you end up with a 1/2 inch strip from the middle to toss. If you want less white space on each side of the sentiment cut another 1/4 inch from each side. To separate the 3 sentiments cut at 3 inch intervals. If you create a project using this sentiment I'd love a peak so be sure to come back and leave a comment with a link to your creation and I'll stop by and leave you some love.

My "Love You" card base is Basic Black layered with PTI White then Deep Love and Ever After patterned paper. I stitched around the edges then added a strip of black knit lace. I paper pierced around the sentiment and layered it on to Basic Black. To embellish the card I added a Primula Kisses Paper Flower layered with a White Paper Flower and finished with a clear gem. I also added two black buttons threaded with DMC White.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
