Hi everyone! I'm back again with another new challenge at The Pixie Cottage. There are two parts to the challenge and you may choose either or both to play along with. We have a fun new sketch and this week's theme is Say It With Flowers. I'm loving this week's theme because I got to ink up this gorgeous Simply The Best rose rubber stamp by Pixie Cottage Stamps.
The card base is Basic Black layered with PTI White distressed around the edges with Antique Linen. The background patterned paper is a pretty black and burgundy marble color. The strip is Wild Wasabi finished on both sides using the Arch Lattice Punch. I wrapped white satin ribbon around the card base and added a pretty bow in front.
The rose image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI White and colored in using copic markers. I thought to ink a little around the edge of the image but forgot that less is more and ended up inking the entire area, LOL! To embellish the card I added a snow pearl in each corner of the image where I punched it out using the Ticket Corner Punch.
Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
