Hi everyone! I was in the mood to use colors other than red and green but my christmas patterned papers are all the same colors so I decided to mix things up by coloring the ornaments and gifts on this card a bright blue. The image used on today's card is the Christmas Mice coloring page by Elizabeth Dulemba. I paired it with a sentiment from the Christmas Cuties digital stamp set by Clear Dollar Stamps.
My card base is Real Red layered with White Cardstock then Green Tone On Tone Plaid Patterned Paper. The shadow layer is Merry Merry Christmas Patterned Paper layered on Real Red. The image and sentiment are printed on White Cardstock and the image colored in using copic markers before layering on Real Red. I rounded the corners of the sentiment before tucking under the image. To embellish the card I added a strip of gold metallic ribbon and a matching bow as well as a metallic gold dew drop in each corner of the card base.
Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
