You Rock My World

The image used on today's card is the You Rock My World digital stamp from the Skelekinz Boys Collection by Bugaboo Stamps. My card base is Chocolate Chip layered with PTI White then DCWV patterned paper.  The shadow layer is Tangerine Tango outlined with a Black Zig Pen.  The sentiment and image were printed on PTI White and the image colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges of the image then layered it on to Chocolate Chip patterned paper. To embellish the card I added aged copper fasteners attached with small copper brads.  I also added a couple black pearls along the edge of the image.

Howdy, everyone!  Today's card was created for this week's Stamps R Us challenge to use an animal on your card.  Our challenge is sponsored by Sew Many Cards and the cute little elephant watering the flower is the Eris Watering Flower digital stamp by Sew Many Cards.  It is not often that I use grey cardstock but thought it was perfect for this card.  I embossed the grey cardstock using the Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder to make it look like elephant skin.

Love Ya Cupcake

I took the day off work on Tuesday to hang out with my husband and celebrate our 19th anniversary!  We grabbed lunch at Subway and went to the movie "Dilemma".  I thought I'd surprise him with something special so I got up early and snuck down in my craft room to make this card for him.

The Love Ya Cupcake is a digital image from Desgined2Delight Digi Stamps.  I'm a little last minute entering this week's Delightful Inspiration challenge.  The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About You stamp set by My Favorite Things.  I embossed the white cardstock in the background so it would look like creamy white frosting! Doesn't this look just yummy, LOL!!!

My card base is Tempting Turquoise layered with Basic Black then PTI White embossed using the D'vine Swirls Embossing Folder. Next I added a strip of Basic Black finished on one side using the Scallop Edge Punch and layered it with Pink Passion. The image was printed on PTI White and colored in using copic markers. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Pink Passion. To embellish the card I added some sparkly black rhinestones.

Raspberry Fizz

Today's card features one of my all time favorite floral stamps, the Morning Soft stamp set by Stampin' Up.  The image is a little too large for a standard size card so I went with a 6 x 6 design.  The pretty pink paper is Raspberry Fizz by Papertrey Ink.

My card base is Basic Black layered with PTI White then Wild Wasabi embossed using the D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder.  The lower layer is PTI White finished using the Deckled Edge Scissors then Raspberry Fizz embossed using the D'Vine Swirls Embossing Folder and finished using the Deckled Edge Scissors.

The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on PTI White and colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges and layered it on to Basic Black.  To embellish the card I added a beautiful black bow finished with a white button threaded with DMC white.  I also added silver rhinestones in each of the other corners.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Sweet Poppies

This card is reminisent of another I made not too long ago and the image is one of my favorite flowers from the Digi Doodle Shop.  I paired the beautiful Poppy & Bud with scallops and my favorite background, the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  My card also features pink and green cardstock so I'm entering it in the current challenge with the Digi Doodle Shop's Best.

For added dimension I pierced a hole in each scallop.  To embellish the card I added white satin ribbon with a bow at the base of the image and finished it with a black button threaded with DMC White.  I also added a metallic gold dew drop in each corner.

One of the coordinators for Feline Playful came down with walking pneumonia this past weekend so I jumped in and updated challenges on Saturday and while doing so came across the Doodle Pantry Challenge Blog.  What a delightful surprise!  The Love Birdies stamp set being featured in this month's DPDC5 challenge caught my eye so I couldn't resist playing along.  Today's card features the beautiful Buzzer's Daisy digital stamp from Doodle Pantry Digital Doodles.  The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Phrases stamp set by Verve Stamps.

Love Ewe

It's been awhile since I was able to play along in the Delightful Inspiration progressive challenge and forget how fun it really is!  Today's card features the Love Ewe stamp set by Designed2Delight Digital Stamps.  The chewed heart in the ewe's mouth inspired me to pair the image with some BoBunny Valentine's patterned paper.  I went back and forth debating whether to add some red photo corners or the red hearts and gold dew drops but wanted the heart in the Ewe's mouth to stand out so the hearts and dew drops won out.

My card base is Basic Black layered with Flourishes Classic White then Sweet Nothings and Tickled Pink patterned paper.  I stitched along the edges then added a strip of Real Red finished using the Scallop Dots Edge Punch.  Before adhering to the card base I added some Black Grosgrain Ribbon.

The image was printed on Flourishes Classic White and colored in using copic markers.  I die cut and embossed the image using the Standard Circles Small Nestabilities and layered it on to Basic Black die cut using the Standard Circles Large Nestabilities.  To embellish the card I punched some Real Red hearts using the Heart To Heart Punch.  I also added a metallic gold dew drop in each corner.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

This is one of those cards where I'm not sure all the elements go together but it is slowly growing on me.  The image is the Daisy Vase digital stamp from Bugaboo Stamps.  I paired it with this beautiful patterned paper I've had forever and finished it off with a pretty swirl topped with stickles.

Pretty Yellow Pansies

Although the snow is still flying around here my thoughts have wandered away from snowmen and on to flowers!  The beautiful flower featured on today's card is the Pansies digital stamp from the Digi Doodle Shop.  The flower pot makes me think of a fancy table top with lace so I couldn't resist finishing the bottom with my Doily Lace Punch, some lace and white ribbon.

My card base is Elegant Eggplant layered with PTI White the Yoyo Yellow and Wild Wasabi finished using the Doily Lace Punch.  I added some beautiful white lace and grosgrain ribbon topping it off with a single tied bow.  The image was printed on PTI White and colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges then layered it on to Elegant Eggplant cardstock.  To embellish the card I punched two little flowers from Yoyo Yellow using the Trio Flower Punch and added a Snow Pearl in the center.  I also added some Snow Pearls along the image.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Happy Winter

In celebration of the amount of snow falling around here lately it seems more appropriate to celebrate New Year's with a Happy Winter card, LOL!!! My card today features the sentiment from the Snowman Cheer digital stamp set from the Clear Dollar Store. I love the font and couldn't resist making the sentiment front and center.

My card base is Baja Breeze layered with PTI White then Blizzard Warning patterned paper.  I stitched around the edges and actually forgot a few stitches so I had to go back and finish them by hand, LOL!!!  The image was printed on PTI White then die cut and embossed using Classic Ovals Large Nestabilities.  I layered it on to Baja Breeze die cut and embossed using the Beaded Ovals Nestabilities.  To embellish the card I punched a snowflake from Blue Bayou cardstock and finished it off with a clear gem and tiny snow pearl.  I also added snow pearls in each corner.
