A Cherished Friendship

Hi everyone!  I was inspired to create this card as soon as I saw these awesome sketches on the Doodle Pantry Challenge Blog.  My layout actually combines my favorite elements from both sketches.

The beautiful pre-colored flower is from the Iris digital stamp set by Doodle Pantry. The set also includes the lovely sentiment and gorgeous digital paper I used in the background. It is hard to tell in this photo but I distressed the edges of all the paper and image with black ink. To embellish the card I added stitched ribbon and clear rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Bird House

Hi everyone, Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!  My husband said he heard a robin chirping in our yard this weekend so I couldn't resist sharing this cute card.  Hopefully our back yard will look like this again very soon.  It rained a little over the weekend and melted more of the snow so now everything looks all brown and dull.  The image used on today's card is the Bird House digital stamp by Heart Song Designs.  The image is SO cute and those birds are absolutely darling!

My card base is Really Rust layered with PTI White then Large Rec Flowers patterned paper.  The green patterned paper is actually just the reverse side of the Large Rec Flowers PP and was finished using the Grass Edge Punch.  Next I wrapped a strip of the White Satin Ribbon around the card base and taped the ends down on the backside.

The image was printed on PTI White and colored in using copic markers.  I die cut and embossed the image using the Classic Ovals Small Nestabilities and layered it on to Really Rust die cut and embossed using the Beaded Ovals Nestabilities.  To embellish the card I added a beautiful bow at the base of the image and some Ice Blue Rhinestones in each corner.

Hi everyone!  Today's card features the beautiful Ella The Ballerina 2 digital stamp from AiFactory.  The color combination actually happened by accident as I was looking for matching burgundy ribbon to coordinate with the patterned paper.  I didn't have the matching burgundy but I did have this gorgeous red and decided to the pair them together then colored the image to go with it.  The chocolate chip was added in to blend with her hair.

My card base is Chocolate Chip layered with Flourishes White then two different prints of patterned paper from the Scrappin Creations Power Pad.  I stiched around the edges then wrapped the red satin ribbon around the Flourishes White and added a beautiful bow.  The image was printed on Flourishes White and colored in using copic markers.  I paper pierced around the edges then layered it on Chocolate Chip cardstock.  To embellish the card I added a Metallic Gold Dew Drop in each corner.

Morning Glory

Hi everyone!  Today's card features one of my all time favorite floral stamps, it is from the Morning Soft stamp set by Stampin' Up.  The image is a bit larger so I always end up making a 6x6 card with it but love the change in size since it jarbles things up in my brain a little and makes me think of a different layout.  The white scallop circle in the backgroud is from the Yours Truly collection I found at Archivers.

My card base is Chocolate Chip layered with PTI White the Lovely Lilac.  I stitched around the edges then added photo corners punched from Wild Wasabi and embossed using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  The image was stamped on PTI White using the Morning Soft stamp set and colored in using copic makers.  I paper pierced around the edges then layered it on to Chocolate Chip before attaching to the case base over the beautiful White Scallop Note.  To embellish the card I added silver rhinestones along the scallop circle note.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
