"Boy" Baby Bear On Moon

Hi everyone! My niece is expecting soon so I thought I'd get a couple baby cards ready.   I made this one for a baby boy and am working on another for a baby girl since I don't know if she is expecting a boy or girl yet.

The image used on today's card is the Baby Bear On Moon digital stamp by Bodils Scrappeverden.  I finished the inside of the card to coordinate with the front and added a verse that's perfect for a baby boy.

I'm entering this card is the Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge "Anything Goes" and Simon Says Stamp Challenge "Anything Goes".

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Raspberry Fizz Butterfly

Hi everyone! Today I've a pretty raspberry fizz butterfly card to share. There's actually no stamp used in the making of it, just some of my favorite papercrafting supplies. The butterfly was an embellishment in a beautiful bouquet of flowers I received from my mom a couple year's ago on my birthday. Since this coming Tuesday is my birthday I thought to make a birthday card with it.

The pleated ribbon was made by hand. I added a wide strip of tape on the white cardstock then taped the end of the black satin ribbon on the backside and wrapped it around the card base onto the tape. I then used glue dots (one on the bottom and another on top) to hold the pleats in place.

The white cardstock was embosssed using the Textile Embossing Folder.  I printed the verse on white cardstock, cropped it to fit, then paper pierced around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Changing Seasons

Hi everyone! This is the birthday card I gave my father-in-law for his birthday!  It was a challenge figuring out what colors to use on the flowers and still end up with a masculine theme. Lucky for me he has a green thumb and flowers them in any color!

Here's a peak at the inside of the card and the verse I added.  I thought the reference to the big outdoors was perfect for a masculine outdoors themed card.  The image used on today's card is from the Changing Seasons rubber stamp set by Stampin' Up.
