2013 Calendar - APRIL

Hi everyone! I think I'm on a role because I actually got another calendar page done. For the month of April I went with an easter theme. It is hard to tell behind all the cheesecloth but I actually punched the green patterned paper using the Grass Edge Punch. It reminds me of all the grass we use to fill the bottom of our easter baskets before filling them with lots of yummy candy.

The easter bunny coloring page used on this months calendar page may be found here... EASTER BUNNY.   I keep forgetting to mention this... if you are interested in making a calendar too and would like a copy of my printable calendar month's (it is an excel file) please email me, I'm happy to send a copy to you.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Tilda With Flowing Hair

Hi everyone!  I'm back with a lovely Tilda card to share today!  I colored this image a few weeks ago and just love how she turned out.  I watched some of these copic coloring videos by Suzanne Dean and used some of her color combinations too.

The cute image used on today's card is the Tilda With Flowing Hair rubber stamp by Magnolia.  I distressed the edges of the image and patterned paper using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and added tons of stitching.  The swirls are a Sixxiz Die Cut and all the pretty flowers are from the Prima Fleur Nursery Tales Collections.

Missing You

Hi everyone! Today I've another clean and simple card I made for Operation Write Home to share.  I usually make a couple dozen of one card for them so I try to keep them quick and easy.

The image used on today's card is from the Garden Silhouettes stamp set and the sentiment is from the For Every Occasion stamp set.  To add some texture I embossed the Pure Poppy cardstock using the Victoria Embossing Folder.  To embellish the card I added some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and a small piece of matching ribbon with a knot.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

CREATIVE DESIGN:
  • Stamps: Garden Silhouettes (Stampin' Up) and For Every Occasion (CTMH)
  • Paper: True Black, Pure Poppy and Vintage Cream Cardstock (Papertrey Ink), Splendor Stripe Patterned Paper (Bo-Bunny)
  • Ink: Real Red (Stampin' Up) and Memento Tuxedo Black

2013 Calendar - MARCH

Hi everyone!  I'm starting to see holiday cards on everyone's blog and thought I'd better get a move on if I want to get this calendar done by christmas.  For the month of March I went with a St.Patrick's Day theme.

I used two different coloring pages on this calendar page: a Three Leaf Clover and the Leprechaun. I printed the three leaf clover on kraft cardstock and cut it out to use in the background. The leprechaun was printed on white cardstock and colored in using copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
