Bandit's Album (page 1)

 

Hi everyone! I've something a little different to share today. Years ago my friend encouraged me to give scrapbooking a try and now I'm totally addicted. Since I started blogging though I haven't scrapbooked at all so I'd have more time to make cards to share. Since my Buddy passed on though I've really wanted to finish his scrapbook. So to inspire myself to get scrapbooking again I've decided to share my layouts here on my blog too. I realize not everyone is interested in both cardmaking and scrapbooking so I've added tabs at the top of my blog that say Cardmaking and Scrapbooking.

This is the cover page in Bandit's album. Over the years we raised 5 cats: Tinker, Tigger, Timber, Bandit and Buddy. Bandit (black and white) and Buddy (all white) were best friends. We adopted them the same summer but not from the same litter. Bandit came into our family first and was named for his looks. Buddy came last and because him and Bandit did everything together we would say he was Bandit's Buddy and so named him Buddy. Bandit died of Feline Urological Syndrome when he was really young. Afterwards Buddy started following me everywhere and we've been best friends ever since.

I had a camera that used film back when I took most of the photos in my pet scrapbook albums so ended up scanning some of them to have enough photos to share between the various albums.  I love this photo because Bandit and Buddy were just little kittens then.  What memories... hope you will share some of your scrapbook pages and pet photos too, I'd love to see them!
