Sketch Saturday & Catch The Bug

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted on my blog these past couple of weeks. We've been fostering 11 adorable kittens for the humane society. Two weeks ago the humane society had 27 kittens surrendered. There were multiple litters and many of the kittens were too small to have surgery and go up for adoption.

There are only 10 of the foster in the below photo, one was still too shy and was hiding at the time. Today we took 9 of the 11 kittens back to the humane society. Two of the kittens are still too small and need a couple more weeks to grow bigger!

This morning I was inspired to create this card using this week's sketch challenge #356 from Sketch Saturday.  I'm also playing along with this month's anything goes Catch The Bug Challenge.

I distressed the edges of the patterned paper and image using chocolate distress ink and a sponge.  The image was colored in using copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

Great card, Karen...love the paw print paper, it is perfect! Also love the picture of the kitties...what a great thing it was for you to foster them. The orange ones remind me of our new kitty Wendel (5 months)...he was 1.3 pounds when we brought him home and is so big now! Thank you for playing along with us at Sketch Saturday!
