Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!! Today I'm sharing my favorite Halloween card featuring the Charcoal in Moonspooks digital stamp from Pollycraft.

The patterned paper are from an old basic grey collection. Sadly I'm down to just scraps now. The tag was a discount find at target. I punched a spider border out of glossy black cardstock and added some glossy dew drops in each corner.

Here are the copic markers I used to color the image.

Cat: T1, T3, T5, T6, T8
Hat: V91, V93, V95, V99
Fence: E70, E71, E74, E77, E79
Grass: G94, G99
Moon: Y00, YR30

Hoping the weather is nice where ever you are and that the little ones have fun trick or treating!

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!

All Hallow's Eve

Hi my crafty friends! I'm back with another Halloween card today. My husband's family is really into celebrating Halloween. They go all out and decorate their yards and inside of the house. I don't decorate my house or yard but do enjoy making Halloween cards for the family.

The image used on today's card is the Scaredy Cat digital stamp by Can You Digi It. I used some patterned papers from my stash and embellished with a fun tag, some gems and black twine.

A few weeks ago one of my friends daughter's broke her arm practicing irish dancing and had to have surgery.  We spent the morning watching their other daughter and went to target that morning to pick up a get well gift for the daughter having surgery.  While there we browsed the discount section and found a set of tags... one of which I used on this card. On the tag is this All Hallow's Eve poem.  I used the poem on the inside of my Halloween cards this year.

ALL HALLOW'S EVE

Halloween is upon us… time for ghosts & ghouls and all things ghastly. Witches on their brooms and creepy kitties riding along. Jack-o-lanterns with scary faces and trick or treating at scary places. Haunted houses with bats above and silhouettes of trees who’ve lost their leaves. Mummies and zombies strolling about, scary enough to make you shout! Souls rising from their graves, it’s their night to come out and play. So if you venture out at night, please beware of all the fright. If you see a ghost, try to be brave. If you see a witch, don’t run away. It’s time to be merry and celebrate, it’s All Hallow’s Eve, the most festive night.

Haunted House

Hi my crafty friends! Every year I feel like my holidays are mixed around. The beautiful fall colors on the trees gets me in the mood to make thanksgiving cards. Then October rolls around and I'm in the mood to create Halloween cards.

The image on this card is from the House Of Haunts wood mounted rubber stamp set by Stampin' Up. I stamped the image on watercolor paper using jet black archival ink and water colored the image. It's hard to tell in the photos but the ground is purple and the sky light grey.

Crazy Cat Embossed

Hi my crafty friends!  Today I've a card for the Splitcoaststampers Falliday Fest challenge "For The Love Of Pets".  The challenge is to create a card with your pet or favorite animal on it.  I've been a cat lover ever since I was little girl.  Sometimes my cats have this intense look on their face when they are watching spiders crawl across the floor.

I embossed the background with my paw print embossing folder and water colored the image.  OMG, I never knew how addicting water coloring could be, LOL!

Northwoods Moose

Hi my crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a card I gave my brother-in-law for his birthday! The image is a Northwoods Rubber Stamp. It's an older stamp I've had in my stash for years.

The image was colored using copic markers. The background was created with several pieces of scrap paper I had. And really the only embellishment is the staples I added at the bottom.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
