Happy Healing

Hi everyone!  As I started blogging this card I realized I've never made a get well card before.  The duck laying in bed on today's card is from the Happy Healing digital stamp set by Clear Dollar Stamps. I paired it with pretty rose colored patterned paper from the Colorbok Treasured Brights Paper Pad.

My card base is Kraft layered with White Cardstock then patterned paper stitched around the edges. The shadow layer is Yoyo Yellow die cut and embossed using the Standard Circles Small Nestabilities. The image and sentiment are printed on White Cardstock and the image colored in using copic markers and a spica pen. I paper pierced around the edges then layered the image on Kraft Cardstock. To embellish the card I add a couple flowers finished with a yellow button threaded with DMC White. To further embellish the card I added some pearls along the sentiment and image.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a purr-fect day!
